System has significant physical and thermal constraints so experience with high density electronic packaging is desired.
Basic qualifications:
- Electromechanical engineering design experience on weapon development program(s)
- Development experience for PWBs, CCA, and harnesses and high density packaging.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Capable of working under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives
Desired skills:
- Relevant senior electromechanical engineering experience on weapon development
- Experience with electromechanical design using Agile methods and MFC DX processes
Software:
- CREO knowledge required
Mentor (Xpedition) desired
Windchill experience desired
Zuken E3 Experience desired
- The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills.
- Candidate should be able to work with a diverse team of internal organizations, managing supplier inputs, and developing internal documentation.
- This effort requires ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits.
- This effort will be fast-paced and will utilized a tailored PDP process to support a quick-turn missile demo.
- A secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one, is required.
